The Clackmannanshire Writers website has been created for residents of the "Wee County" who are interested in creative writing.  Here you will find local creative writing events, a forum to share ideas, and some examples of creative writing by local people. Keep an eye on the website as it is updated weekly.

Clackmannanshire Writers is hosted by Tom Murray, Writer in Residence to Clackmannanshire Council.  Tom wants to hear from any local budding poets, novelists and scriptwriters, as well as individuals , groups and people of all ages. Whatever level your writing is at, if you are interested in developing your skills and are looking for advice or feedback or simply someone to bounce ideas off , he wants to hear from YOU! Tom Murray is available to discuss your writing Wednesdays 5pm--7pm at Alloa Library.  Please book a time through the library 01259 722262.

He is available at the Art Shop Tron Court  Tullibody  Tuesdays 11am--3pm.  This is a drop in, no need to book.

FICTION WORKSHOP
 Tom Murray Clackmannanshire Writer in Residence invites you to a free workshop on Wednesday 9th December 2009, at 7.30pm at Alloa Library.

 ‘ PEOPLE AND PLACES! ’

A practical workshop exploring how characters and setting work together in telling a story.
For creative writers at all levels, from complete beginners to the more experienced.
The residency is supported by Cultural and Community Services.
